Hello! My name is Alison and welcome to my nail blog!

I've always been a fan of nail polish since I was a little girl. My mom would paint my nails on the back deck during the summer and I would stare at my fingers all day long. For a long time, I would paint my nails like a typical preteen would with no care for my nails or cuticles. I got my first job at a Panda Express when I was 16 and we were forbidden to wear nail polish. After a year, I was no longer employed there and I went nail polish crazy! I would paint my nails every day to make up for the year sans nail polish. Then I fell off the nail polish grid, painting my nails whenever but not often enough. Which meant I had those nasty nubs with nail polish that has been worn down to the cuticles. 

Then I realized how awesome nail polish was again and would paint my nails every Sunday after work. I have what I like to call no color discrimination. Haha. I love all colors and will try any color during any time. I pay no attention to seasonal colors, I wear them when I want to. 

Then something crazy happened. I got my iPhone and downloaded the app Instagram. There are hundreds upon hundreds of pictures of nail designs and swatches. All these pictures inspired me to go above and beyond the normal manicure. I continued nail art and nails swatch browsing through blogger and felt inspired to start my own blog. I do have to admit, I do not know much about blogging, but I am excited to learn and expand my horizons.

In the end, I created this blog so I can learn from other bloggers and readers and to join the nail-blogosphere family.
